If You'd Rather Be
Scuba Diving Than
Anything Else In The
World
You Might Just Find
Something Interesting Inside These Pages...
Welcome to Scuba Diving Underwater.
On the pages of this site you have access to books about scuba
adventures, safety, and improving your diving skill. You'll
also
find equipment to increase your diving comfort, along with scuba toys
and gifts for every diver.
Do you ever get the
feeling that your dives just don't last long enough?
Does it seem like you no more than descend to your scuba diving depth
before your pressure gauge tells you it's time to head back to the
surface because your air is almost gone? And your underwater adventure
is too soon over?
Our scuba air only
lasts so long, and that time
period is way too short
for some of us. Our air consumption rate depends on a number of factors
(the most important one, I think, is our state of mind when we jump
into the water -- or the comfort level we feel when we descend into the
depths), and keeping track of each of those factors feels like work
sometimes.

That's why I wrote "How
To
Save Air While Scuba Diving -- Tweaking
Methods That Help You Make That Tank Last Longer -- And 13 Breathing
Techniques To Help You Become An Air Sipper...Not An Air Guzzler!"
It's a book about my experimentation and testing activities for getting
those air tanks to last longer, so I can hover over the reef for longer
than an hour of diving, rather than a lousy twenty to forty minutes.
Click on that title to read more about the book.
For added reading pleasure I offer entertainment, and skill enhancing
publications on the scuba
books
page. And on the dive blog you'll find
stories, musings, and even some rantings from yours truly, along with
other divers who send their thoughts my way.
If you have some stories you'd like to donate please send them to me on
my contact page, or leave a comment on the scuba blog.
No scuba diver is ever complete without those extra diving tools. You
don’t need them for life support, but they do make diving
more
enjoyable, don't they? You'll find a selection of those tools on the accessories
page.
You should select your life support equipment for scuba diving with
care, and when you make your choices for the important items that keep
you alive while you're underwater, I advise you seek out your local
dive shop. After all, the people you find there are experts at helping
you get the proper fit and comfort level for your diving activities. If
you know what you want, and like the convenience of shopping online, my
scuba
stuff page
might help you out.
My main goal with Scuba Diving Adventures is helping you enjoy longer,
safer dives, and have more fun while you're underwater.
I look for
rare, humorous, and unique toys, and gifts for you to add to your scuba
diving hobby collection.
Keep an eye out for those items. You never know when something might
catch your eye. Maybe it'll be something you can live without, but a
nice-to-have keepsake that lets you relive one of your favorite dives
every time you look at it.
